  • Phase 1: Prepare for Migration

This phase is typically the first eight to ten weeks of your onboarding.

    Meet your Implementation Specialist.

Your Implementation Specialist will set up a call to meet your Project Team. Your first data set from your legacy system will be migrated.

    Establish objectives.

Your implementation specialist will establish objectives and timelines for onboarding with you. You’ll begin communicating through support tickets with your specialist.

    Begin training.

Calls with your implementation specialist continue as you and your staff get set up in the Platform and review the data migrated from the legacy system. Self-paced training and five remote trainings are held.

    Phase 2: Go Live

Here your data is fully migrated and you begin working in the Platform.

    Migration

Your final data set is migrated and your legacy system is turned off. Any data updates will be made now in the Platform.

    “Go Live”

A MinistryPlatform resource will be on-site as you begin using the Platform for the first time.

    Phase 3: Post Go Live

Your coach will continue weekly coaching calls to help you settle in for about 7 weeks. After that, you can expect bi-weekly or monthly coaching calls for a year as needed to help you continue moving forward in the Platform. Onsite training will be available for parish staff, and your coach will continue monitoring support tickets to step in as needed to assist you.

  • Phase 1: Waves

During the initial phase, we work with the Diocese to create a wave structure, starting with a pilot wave. The pilot lasts approximately eight weeks and consists of no more than 10 parishes. Once the pilot is complete, we continue with other waves of agreed upon timelines and parishes.

    Phase 2: Prepare for Migration

    Meet your coach.

Your implementation specialist will set up weekly calls with your Diocese team, and weekly calls with the pilot parishes and Diocese. Your first data set from your legacy system will be migrated.

    Parish “Go Live”

Processing contributions will be reviewed in the morning, and Sacraments and Household Registration will be in the afternoon.

    Diocese “Go Live”
